Level - All 

This class is for beginners to advanced students and is intended to introduce the basic materials and processes of jewelry making.  This class is for a maximum of 6 students.

Beginners will move through a series of core projects to build foundations: Piercing by Sawing, Textured Ring, Bezel Setting, Cold Connection, Soldering- Chain with Toggle Clasp, File Ring, Appliqué Jewelry, and Hollow Forms. Findings will be covered throughout the series. These projects will take a series of sessions to complete. Completion of projects will vary based on your designs and how quickly you pick up techniques. Upon completion, a curriculum will be created specific to your design style and technical direction.

Intermediate students entering the class will have a curriculum created specific to their needs.

Advanced students are welcome to use time for individual projects while overseen by instructor.  Learn the technical and problem solving skills necessary to create your own jewelry designs from drawings to finished pieces.

Each class session does have a make up class following the last class. Those who purchase individual dates are not entitled to the make up. The make up class is only for those enrolled in a full session.  No make up will be provided for individual class packages.

Price does not include the cost of basic tool kit and materials.  An additional fee of $10 will be collected on the first day of class for a studio materials. A confirmation email will be sent upon registration with a supply list.  Once basic tools are purchased you can purchase tools a la carte.  Material costs will vary based on the type of metal and materials you choose to work with such as brass, copper, sterling silver, stones etc.
